We sat down with Priyanka Aeron, Managing Director at EcoSoul Home, to talk about their approach to building a sustainability driven business.

Can you share a brief overview of EcoSoul Home and its mission?

Priyanka Aeron: Absolutely! EcoSoul Home is committed to transforming everyday living into a more sustainable experience. Our mission is to highlight that sustainability doesn't have to be daunting—it can be simple, affordable, and easily accessible, starting right from one's home. We craft everyday essentials using the Earth's rapidly replenishing resources, aiming to make a positive impact on the planet.

What does sustainability mean to you and your brand?

Priyanka Aeron: Sustainability, to us, means making eco-friendly products available to everyone without added complexity or high costs. It's about showcasing how small changes in daily choices, like using palm leaf plates instead of single-use paper, can collectively make a significant difference for the environment.

What inspired EcoSoul to focus on sustainability and community support?

Priyanka Aeron: The inspiration came from the realization that Earth isn't ours to own but is borrowed from future generations. We've always been passionate about sustainable living and, upon exploring the harsh realities of climate change and its impact, we felt a compelling need to act responsibly. Our dedication to giving back to society led us to support local communities, particularly empowering women in rural India.

Could you share some significant achievements related to sustainability in your company?

Priyanka Aeron: Certainly! Within just three years, we've made substantial environmental impacts—saving over 21,000 trees, reducing nearly 35 million kilograms of CO2 emissions, and eliminating over 1.3 million pounds of plastic. Additionally, our support for women empowerment and our commitment to green manufacturing processes have been key milestones.

How does EcoSoul measure its environmental impact and track progress toward sustainability goals?

Priyanka Aeron: We take our commitment to sustainability seriously and employ a comprehensive approach to measure our impact. Through regular assessments and audits across our supply chain, we analyze resource consumption, waste generation, and carbon emissions. We closely monitor metrics such as the reduction of single-use plastic and track reforestation efforts to ensure our initiatives align with our sustainability goals.

Have there been any challenges on your sustainability journey?
